Puzzle: Stephen Wilkes Stonehenge, UK Day to Night
Stephen Wilkes is one of America's most iconic photographers. Widely recognized for his Day to Night series, these epic cityscapes and landscapes capture moments of humanity as light passes in front the lens of a fixed camera for up to 30 hours. A select group of these images are then seamlessly blended into one final product, capturing the changing of time within a single frame.
Stonehenge is one of the best-known ancient wonders of the world, and one of England’s most iconic prehistoric monuments. This entry in the Day to Night series was photographed just a few weeks after the summer solstice and while the inner ring of Stonehenge open to host a pagan wedding ceremony called “handfasting”.
